I was fortunate to be back visiting Iowa when you performed Remembering Buxton in West Liberty. My mom, sister, and I made a loop from Goldfield, where we all grew up and Mom still lives, to Missouri, where my sister lives, to West Liberty, for the puppet show, then back to Goldfield, IA. We had a glorious time. We all loved Remembering Buxton! What a fabulous performance, show, and music! And what a delight to meet Monica in person for the first time at that show. Y'all ROCK!

Till Eulenspiegel was a traveling jester born in 1300 and died 1350 of the plague. He specialized in playing tricks on the wealthy and unscrupulous to amuse the poor (and himself!). The Catholic Church and its excesses were a particular target, as were any authority figures. You can read 97 stories about him, published in 1500 by someone who claimed to be the grandson of one of his friends.
Yes! And the first thing we want to know is why “Eulenspiegel”? Merry Pranks of.....? Source of one of the most famous French horn riffs of all time? Looking forward to it.
