After Kamala's surgical exorcism of Orange Julius, I'm reposting. I knew she would be prepared but to have him reduced to a blithering puddle was.....to be expected when his adversary is a woman who does her homework. =-)

Thank you so for your melodic ability and for sharing them. I’m feeling moved, mellow and content. When ever did I say that about a political pair?

It's 11:00pm CST. Finally circling back to check comments. Wow, you make me even more grateful for your attention. I hadn't planned to write this song but how do you NOT create something that reflects the courage, joy, resolve and integrity (emphasize the "grit" part) that Kamala represents. The groove is a throwback to what drummer Jimmy Brown might've played with the Rhythm Masters at Teen Town at the Iowa State Fair in 1964.

I hope the writing session went well. Mid-50's and cloudy I see. Nice...and silent.

I was literally writing this getting vibes(!?!) from watching Kamala being the same as she was in SF as AG. Speaking of 50 years ago, Teen Town at the Fair was where I heard the 'back beat' groove used in this song. (bows slightly at the waist, tips his hat..)
