Love the sharing of your music with the post, Dartanyan. Enjoyed it. And the photo! I remember using that! Was it for the Basic programming class my last year in college? I can't remember. Really brings home how far we've come. I really liked the Steve Jobs book, too. It was very insightful and I learned a lot about two men I knew little about beyond headlines, plus had me reflecting on management styles of those I've had while working in IT.
Big thanks Rachelle. I called my Mac "the everything box." Yes, you could write code with them but for me it was all about the synthesizer circuitry built into the Mac. I just interviewed Monica for a later podcast about Eulenspeigel Puppet Theater's 50th year anniversary. We should talk. (wink)
At the time I used one, it didn't even occur to me there were other uses for it, especially music production. I look forward to listening to Monica's interview--and "talking." :-)
Funny, nobody really knows how folks are going to use these things. Computers like the early SID-chip Commodore computers created income because producers couldn't find those weird/wonderful sounds anywhere else for awhile.
Recently finished Isaacson's eponymous book "Musk". Great read and enhanced my opinion of Musk as an innovator and Isaacson as a writer Now, with your recommendation will start on "Steve Jobs". Thank you.
And really enjoy the photo you included of the two antiques, the man and the machine!
Thanks for mentioning the "Musk" book. Since "Steve Jobs" did the same thing for me that you state above, I'm going to get "Musk." Just added it to my Wish List so I don't forget.

Thanks for the music!
I wonder if Jobs ever envisioned that the computer would decimate the incomes of so many musicians.
Frank Zappa: “Absolutely Free”.
Thank you, Dartanyan. I give Wozniak a bit more credit, but they were quite a duo. I’m at my Mac for many hours daily.
Yeah, he was a saint to deal with SPJ. Woz chill personality and family stability were the Yin to Jobs' volcanic familial Yang.

Musk seems to be like Jobs...but with intergalactic ambitions. Thanks for your attention both past and present. =-)
