Love the photo of you and Herbie! Let’s hope the strength of whatever sane integrity is still left alive and able to keep breathing in our government will prevail and American democracy will survive what lies ahead. Lock down lock up and throw away the key if you get what I’m saying.

It's as if I'm in a weird time machine. Going back in time...but seeing the future. Just glad I have the musical memories to cancel out the political tomfoolery of both eras. Thanks for the comments

You're so welcome. A pleasure to bring it forward to you. Funny how the 'bookends' of Nixon-to-Trump triggered this particular memory. Wild!

Thanks for sharing those historic recordings!

Although I did, as I always do in a club, find myself saying “Shut the f up! Do you have any idea what you’re hearing?”

And now as then, our job as musicians is even more clear: fill the world with love and beauty.

Ha...I kinda thought people might enjoy the "real ambience" of the club. But you're correct, we often weren't kind to those who thought talking over the music was ok. By the way, thank dog for modern audio processing tools.

That’s the way it is! Most people don’t go to a club to listen, right? Even if Chase and Herbie Hancock are Playing!

In fairness, it was a press event … in a bar …( with free beverages). Humans are not meant to appreciate decorum in a situation like that 🤣

I could’ve taken the conversations out with Waves plug-in Clarity VX but what fun would that be?

Meanwhile what’s going on in Montana with the Gianforte dude shooting a radio-collared wolf?

Yeah. We’re looking to collar him! Support Busse for Governor!

Huge thanks, means a lot. Glad I could bring these performances to those who appreciate what that time was all about.
