After days of stumblin’ bumblin’ and crumblin’ of the Federal workforce, I dropped into WHO-Radio morning programming and caught this gem of an exchange between a foxnews guy updating the morning host on the MuskDogeTrump situation. We heard tales of 150-year-old people still getting Social Security benefits (apparently Musk et. al. never heard of a legacy computer language (COBOL).

I invite you to ‘listen between the lines” of this short but telling exchange. Substack generated a transcript which you may be able to access too.

Two minutes and 40 seconds into the conversation we get this…

Host: Why are we rushing so much to slash all of this governmental spending without really knowing what we're doing and who's being fired?

Fox Guy: Yeah, I think that's kind of one of the questions we're asking right now.

Left unsaid: Of course, not one word of concern for the Iowa farmers left in a massive lurch as planting/farm-financing season approaches.

Buckle up folks, whether rural or urban we’re all on the Trump train and Casey Jones appears to have jumped off this runaway at the last curve. Yep, it’s a loco(!)motive out of control.

Thank the good Lord that Shadric Smith is on the case, bringin’ us some good news and get us back to basics.
