Interview with a Blues Legend

For fans of the blues, this audio time capsule seems a fitting way to begin a new year. It was summer 1977 and blues singer, guitarist and songwriter Luther Allison (Aug. 18, 1939 - August 12 1997) was in town to play So’s Your Mothers club. Always looking for a good story, Dartanyan took Luther to the just-opened radio station KUCB-FM and conducted an interview that revealed much about the motivations and trials of the touring blues musicians of that era.
